Process simulation courses

Courses aimed at acquiring the necessary know-how to apply the use of commercial process simulators to your daily activities

CPD-PS-102

Steady State Proces Simulation (natural Gas and LNG Focus)

The course content addresses the practical needs of process simulation users working in Natural Gas processing design and operations. Through the use of key software functionalities, participants will learn how to evaluate operating alternatives for the process units under study. The knowledge gained will enable engineers to develop their own simulation models to support the solution of real design challenges. Relying on rigorous simulation results leads to faster, more reliable decision-making and increased confidence in the technical decisions taken.

CPD-PS-202

Dynamic Process Simulation(Oil & Naturak Gas Focus)

The course content addresses the fundamental needs of users involved in dynamic process simulation. Participants will learn the principles of dynamic process modeling using commercial simulators, with a clear introduction to the key differences between steady-state and dynamic modeling. In addition, essential control theory concepts are briefly reviewed.

To ensure an effective learning experience, all topics are developed through simple, practical, hands-on examples. Basic unit operations are introduced progressively, with the objective of enabling participants to build complete dynamic process flowsheets by ge by the end of the course.

Theory is used to define the objectives of each module and to support understanding of the underlying calculations. The application of key software functionalities allows users to evaluate operating alternatives for the process units under study.
